In 1982 SMC New Zealand was established as a wholly owned subsidiary of SMC Australia. The Head Office and Auckland Branch are located at Mt Wellington, with sales branches in Hamilton, Palmerston North, Wellington and Christchurch, with sub branches in Rotorua, New Plymouth, Hastings, Nelson and Invercargill. We shifted into our new Head Office facility at Mt Wellington in March 2008, and in this facility we have our Administration, Auckland Sales, Technical Engineering, NZQA Accredited Training, Manufacturing, Control Systems and National Warehouse. The main sales branches also have stockholdings, and customer services areas so that we can service our vast customer base.
